ORGANIC Haritaki Powder (India)

Origin and things worth knowing

Haritaki or Harad (Terminalia chebula) has been anchored in Ayurvedic and Traditional Chinese Medicine for several thousand years and is considered a superfood.

In India, this plant is also known as the "queen of medicinal plants" because it has an immense spectrum of effects.

This evergreen tree is found in the forests of India, China, Sri Lanka, Nepal and Bangladesh.

Together with the fruits Amalaki and Bibhitaki, Haritaki forms the famous Ayurvedic remedy Triphala, which is said to have rejuvenating properties.

In Ayurvedic teaching there are 6 rasas (tastes in the mouth):

Sweet, sour, salty, pungent, bitter and tart - Haritaki covers all these flavors except salty.

Properties and Effects:

In addition to the extraordinary blood-cleansing effect, Haritaki also has the ability to increase the oxygen content in the blood to up to 300% when taken regularly. This improves concentration and memory, as well as general performance.

The increased oxygen intake also promotes circulation in the tissue and improves blood flow - this can also prevent heart attacks or strokes.

Haritaki strengthens the connective tissue - water retention, varicose veins and high blood pressure can be combated extremely effectively.

Haritaki helps with skin problems such as pimples and acne, allergic skin reactions and can also counteract hair loss.

Haritaki is considered a real fountain of youth: it strengthens the eyesight, cleanses the gastrointestinal tract and improves the intestinal flora. It works against constipation as well as against diarrhea (see applications) and can even remove intestinal parasites.
